How to Win
Find out how you can earn with your tokens
Holders of Club Transfer Tokens can earn returns on player transfers in the transfer market. But not just any transfer. Let's take a closer look at which events give rise to profits:
β
A. Profit generating events:
There are two events that trigger the FIFA Solidarity Mechanism. These are transfers with payment and loans. Let's take a closer look at each of them:
π1. Paid transfer: you win if the amount of the transfer exceeds the initial valuation of the player. The greater the difference between the two values, the greater your profit. β
This gain applies when the player is transferred in a definitive and onerous manner, fulfilling any of the following conditions:
The transfer of professional players takes place between clubs affiliated to different associations.
The transfer is between clubs affiliated with the same association, provided that the training club is affiliated with a different association.
π 2. Loans: the investor can also make a profit if it is a temporary and onerous assignment, provided that one of the following conditions is met:
A professional player is transferred between clubs affiliated with different associations.
A professional player is transferred between clubs of the same association, provided that the training club is affiliated with a different association.
β B. Events that do NOT generate profits:
π 1. Free transfer: in this case, the player's contract is terminated, and so is the associated token. You will lose your investment in case you have acquired tokens from a player who left for free. This also applies if the player decides to retire.
π€ Practical examples:
π Premises
β Investor receives profit
βInvestor does not earn a profit
If Player X was trained in a club in Country A:
π Example:
β Player X is playing for a club in Country B and is onerously transferred to another club in Country B.
β Player X is playing for a club in Country B and is onerously transferred to another club in Country C.
β Player X is playing for a club in Country B and is onerously transferred to another club in Country A.
β Player X is playing for a club in Country A and is onerously transferred to another club in Country B.
βPlayer X is playing for a club in Country A and is onerously transferred to another club in Country A.
βPlayer X is playing for a club in Country A and transfers freely to any other club in any other country.
The latter case does not activate the FIFA Solidarity Mechanism, since it is a local and not an international transfer, and is therefore governed by the regulations of the local Football Association.
