# Club Transfer Token

## 🤔 What is a Token?

A token is a digital representation of an asset, right, or utility, whether physical or intangible.

At WIN, tokens are designed to operate within the ecosystem and leverage the advantages of blockchain technology. Thanks to features such as immutability, transparency, and security, tokens enable efficient management, traceability, and transfer of the represented assets.

## 🧐 What is a Club Transfer Token (CTT)?

**Club Transfer Tokens (CTTs)** are a unique category of tokens within the WIN ecosystem, designed to unlock liquidity in the transfer market and offer anyone the opportunity to participate in clubs’ training compensation rights. Unlike other digital assets, CTTs are backed by an underlying asset that supports their structure and functionality within the ecosystem.

In essence, CTTs represent a fraction of the future revenues derived from a player’s next international transfer, specifically linked to FIFA’s Solidarity Mechanism. Each tokenization is associated with an individual player, allowing participants to engage in the benefits generated by football transfer fees.

In addition to receiving revenues derived from the player’s next international transfer, CTT holders will be able to trade them on the WIN Market, further expanding their opportunities within the ecosystem. The funds raised by clubs through the sale of these tokens are contractually intended to promote and strengthen their youth development activities, generating a positive impact on the growth of sports talent.

## 📝Underlying Contracts

All **WIN Tokens** are backed by real-world legal agreements that ensure legal legitimacy and the proper structure for their operation within the ecosystem.

The tokens issued within the WIN ecosystem are supported by agreements between WIN and the clubs, which establish the framework to validate the traceability, ownership, and authenticity of the underlying assets. This provides greater trust and security for users within the platform. Proof of Contract.[Contract Proofs](/win-investments-en/legal-terms/contract-proofs.md).
